Black Junction LLC was founded in 2016 by two Black men who grew up together in Newark, NJ. After years of talking about the issues within their community, they decided they wanted to do something to try and help fix some of those problems. BlackMainstreet.net was created and from there BlackJunction.com and other platforms.
The ultimate mission of Black Junction is to build platforms that empower the Black Community by giving us control of the media we consume, the money we spend and the way we communicate with each other. Our platforms include BlackJunction.com – a social media network for the Black community, BlackJunction.tv – a videosharing platform for the Black community, BlackMainStreet.net – a news outlet to keep our community informed about things that are important to us, and BlackJunction.biz (coming soon) – a digital market place for Black businesses and freelancers.
Black Junction is run by a very small team of people who dedicate their time and resources to trying to build something important for our community. We need your help and support to continue to grow these platforms. Contributions made to Black Junction go towards helping us pay for web hosting services, site upgrades, app development, marketing and advertising.
